VNAT strengthens cooperation with Wallonie - Bruxelles in tourism training

(TITC) – On 1 July 2016, in Ha Noi, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Deputy Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism had a meeting with Ms. Anne Lange - Chief Representative of Wallonie - Bruxelles Delegation in Viet Nam, and tourism experts of Wallonie – Bruxelles, Belgium.

At the meeting, the Chief Representative of Wallonie - Bruxelles Delegation in Viet Nam emphasized some remarkable results of cooperation in training tourism human resources between the Wallonie - Bruxelles and Viet Nam in recent years, including cooperation programs for capacity improvement of trainers at Ha Noi University, Hue University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy. Ms. Anne Lange informed that the Wallonie – Bruxelles Delegation desires to continue studying the need to improve efficiency of cooperation in tourism training between the two sides and looks for strengthened cooperation with universities in Viet Nam. She also proposed VNAT to facilitate the practice of students of Belgian universities in Viet Nam and support linking with Vietnamese tourism training establishments, tourism enterprises and accommodation establishments.

In his speech, Deputy Director General of VNAT Nguyen Quoc Hung spoke highly of the cooperation programs in training tourism masters as well as close cooperation between the two sides. He emphasized that Viet Nam tourism always focused on improving the quality of human resources and hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would continue to strengthen cooperation in this field. VNAT is willing to facilitate the exchange of apprentices among tourism training establishments of the two sides.
