Leisure tea time in an antiquity space
Update: Dec 28, 2016
Those who love drinking tea and admiring antique items should head to Villa Royale Downtown, an old house at 25 Ho Tung Mau Street in HCMC’s District 1.

From the outside, the venue looks peaceful with sparkling yellow lights in the air. There is an old wooden staircase leading to the place with paintings decorated along the aisle.

Once entering inside, people might be amazed by grey walls with floral patterns and furniture that bring a nostalgic atmosphere.

Guests can buy their favorite antiques that are on display at the shop. All of these items were collected from many countries in the world by Mrs Tracy, an Australian owner of the place.

Guests can browse for their favorite tea flavors with the instruction from the shop’s staff.

The shop offers around 38 kinds of TWG, a tea brand imported from Singapore, and each tea flavor has different uses for good sleep, relaxed mind and help reduce coughing and sore throat.

Villa Royale Downtown delivers an elegant tea etiquette by serving tea lovers with different shapes of tea pots and cups with beautiful decoration patterns.

Guests can also browse for some home-made cakes to enjoy with tea. Those who wish to take a visit at the shop and admire antiques also receive instructions from staff.

Tea will be served at the price starting from VND95,000 per person, depending on the kind of tea. Cakes are priced from VND95,000 to VND105,000 a portion. There are also salad and baguette for guests to choose from.
