Da Lat plants 42,000 cleome trees in Light Park
Update: Mar 17, 2017
The Da Lat Urban Service Joint-Stock Company in Lam Dong province is planting 42,000 cleome trees to replace buckwheat flowers in order to serve locals and tourists.

Currently, the cleome trees will be planted on an area of 5,500 square meters, along Nguyen Van Cu Street (in front of Anh Sang hamlet), and are expected to bloom during summer 2017.

Cleome is also called Phung Diep flower. It originates from Brazil and is suitable for summer weather conditions. Its colours are white and pink.

After being redesigned, Light Park becomes an attractive destination for holidaymakers visiting Da Lat, because it always features various kinds of beautiful and unique flowers that create a “green” highlight for the centre of Da Lat city.
