The APEC meeting next week, which is expected to draw 10,000 delegates, will provide opportunities for Da Nang City to introduce the image of Vietnamese people and landscapes, especially attractions in the central region.

Da Nang has designed a variety of tours for the APEC guests including the Marble Mountains, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Son Tra peninsula, the ancient town of Hoi An, the Ba Na Hills, the Imperial City of Hue, the Than Tai Mountain hot spring, and the Han River.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said, “APEC 2017 is an opportunity to promote Viet Nam’s image. We will organize numerous activities to boost interaction between APEC delegates and local communities such as art performances and exhibitions.”
