The opening ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Uong Chu Luu, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov, and President of the Viet Nam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association Nghiem Vu Khai, as well as members of the Viet Nam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association; individuals who have studied and worked in Azerbaijan; and employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Viet Nam.

The exhibition is considered an important activity to deepen the friendship between Viet Nam and Azerbaijan, while promoting people-to-people exchange.

The event, running until May 27, features 60 photos by photographer Ta Ngoc Xuan and some photos of Azerbaijan 100 years ago, provided by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Viet Nam.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Anar Imanov said the exhibition is an important activity to mark the 100th National Day of Azerbaijan. The photos displayed at the event, captured by photographer Ta Ngoc Xuan, show beautiful views of Baku, the capital city of the country, which has hosted many Vietnamese students.

He expressed his hopes that the exhibition will help strengthen ties between the two countries.
