Diverse culture, sports and tourism activities will take place in the southern province of An Giang to celebrate the 130th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang’s birth.

Activities will include a seminar on the President; the 130th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang’s birth; a photo exhibition on An Giang province - the homeland of the President; a cultural and tourism week; activities introducing An Giang provincial tourism destinations; and sports activities.
The event aims to commemorate and honour the great contribution of the President to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause in general and An Giang province in particular.
President Ton Duc Thang was born on August 20th, 1888, in My Hoa Hung commune, Long Xuyen city, An Giang province. He dedicated his whole life for the revolutionary cause of the Party and people. His name and career are attached to the glorious revolutionary history of our Party and people.
