Vo Xuan Thu, general director of Victoria Can Tho Resort, a member of Thien Minh Group, told the Saigon Times that the price of a trip, including meals and beverages onboard, starts from VND21 million.

Passengers who depart from HCMC will be transported by vehicles to Can Tho City before their tours to Cambodia, she said.

This is the first luxurious four-star cruise ship to connect Phnom Penh with Can Tho, the region’s central city, which is home to numerous domestic and international direct air routes to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hanoi, Danang, Nha Trang, Dalat, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Phu Quoc and Con Dao Island.

The four-deck cruise ship, equipped with modern facilities, has 33 deluxe cabins and two VIP suites.

Apart from a restaurant with a 360-degree view on the upper deck, the ship features various entertainment areas, shopping stores, spa centers, libraries and cinemas.

Passengers may also enjoy the panoramic view of the Mekong River from the sun deck of the ship.

During the tours on the ship, circus performances, lion dances, traditional Khmer dances and folk music performances of the the Mekong Delta region will be organized to serve passengers. The ship is expected to bring tourists to various destinations in Can Tho, such as the Cai Rang floating market, and Cambodia.

The Victoria Mekong cruise ship, which was launched on August 31, is operated by Victoria Mekong Cruises Company, a joint venture between Thien Minh Group and Wendy Wu Tours, the United Kingdom’s leading Asia tour specialist.
