Vietnam Airlines to launch Russia services in cooperation with Vinpearl

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will partner with resort company Vinpearl to open eight routes connecting four Russian cities with Vietnam’s key tourist destinations of Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.  

Services between four Russian cities and two Vietnamese destinations are expected to begin in mid-March

Weekly services to and from Moscow, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Ekaterinburg are expected to begin from mid-March.

Vinpearl Travel Russia, a subsidiary of Vinpearl, also plans to open a Moscow office on March 3, with the aim of advertising high-end tour packages, that include flights, resort, entertainment and insurance services, to Russian customers.

Ingosstrakh, one of the largest insurance companies in Russia, will be the insurance of partner of Vinpearl Travel Russia.

As the flight partner of Vinpearl, Vietnam Airlines is aiming to operate at least 168 flights, serving 50,000 Russian passengers to Vietnam in the first year.

The first service under the partnership between Moscow and Nha Trang will have a frequency of 2 flights per week starting from March 12.
