Vietnam reopened to international tourists on March 15, 2022. Since then, a large number of foreigners have visited Vietnam.

My Son Sanctuary has become an attractive and must-see destination in Quang Nam province.

Beside upgrading tourism infrastructure, the Management Board of My Son Cultural Heritage makes every effort to renew tourism products to attract visitors, including My Son A10 pedestal - a Vietnam’s national treasure in 2021, the programme “My Son Legendary Night” with charming Champa dance on the 16th night of every lunar month at My Son Sanctuary.

Ms. Lina, a visitor from Germany said it was the second time she’d gone to My Son after the Covid-19 pandemic. She was very interested in the tourist space and Champa dances there.

According to Vice Director of the Management Board of My Son Cultural Heritage, the “My Son Legendary Night” show is very attractive both domestic and foreign visitors.

Since the beginning of the year 2022, My Son Sanctuary has welcomed 20,000 arrivals. It is a good sign for Quang Nam tourism in general and My Son Sanctuary in particular.

Moreover, a series of events to welcome the National Tourism Year 2022 under the theme “Quang Nam – A Green Destination” is a good chance to attract a large number of visitors.

Foreign visitors to My Son Sanctuary

My Son Sanctuary – a UNESCO-recognised world heritage site – has been well preserved since it was built thousands of years ago during the prosperous development of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 13th centuries.

My Son Sanctuary is still a unique and mysterious archaeological site, and it remains a research centre for Champa culture – a defunct civilisation in Asia, according to local archaeologists.
