Hosted by the provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the biennial festival is held alternately in districts in Binh Dinh.

It has become a venue for cultural exercise and exchange among Bahnar, Cham and H’re ethnic groups in the province. In addition, many cultural practices, traditional festivals and folk games have been restored and promoted in the community.

This year’s event attracted more than 600 artisans, actors and athletes, with six delegations from six districts in Binh Dinh Province, who engaged in numerous sports, games, art performances, competitions, and art exchanges.

Prominent activities included a football tournament, a show of traditional costumes, a brocade weaving contest, and a cuisine fest.

An exhibition displaying photos and documents themed ‘Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos belong to Vietnam: historical and legal evidence’ also took place within the framework of the festival.
