Vietnam’s culture, tourism introduced in Venezuela

The Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela recently held a workshop aimed at promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism, along with a photo exhibition featuring the beauty of the country’s land and people at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Caracas.

As part of his speech, Ambassador Le Viet Duyen said that after experiencing more than 4,000 years of national construction and defence, the nation, as home to 54 ethnic groups, boasts a rich and diverse culture. Now, it has over 40 tangible and intangible cultural heritage aspects recognised by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

In response, Carolus Wimmer, president of the Venezuela – Vietnam Friendship Association (CAVV), expressed his positive view of the progress gained by the Vietnamese people over recent times.

The photo exhibition on Vietnamese tourism is scheduled to run until October 2.
