(TITC) - Recently, General Director of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan had a meeting with Mr. Mayerfas, Indonesian Ambassador to Viet Nam.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mayerfas said Indonesia would support Viet Nam to promote its image in Indonesia as well as organize presstrips to Viet Nam.
The Ambassador also suggested that Viet Nam should further strengthen introducing the attractive, friendly, civilized and safe image and tourism potentials of the country to Indonesian public.
In addition, Viet Nam should also open direct flights between Hanoi – Bali to attract Indonesian tourists, as well as a large number of international tourists to Bali extending their trips to Viet Nam.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan agreed to enhance bilateral tourism cooperation. As expected, Viet Nam will invite an Indonesian presstrip to Viet Nam in September 2014, meanwhile study on Indonesian tourism market, develop promotional plan for 2015 onward and focus on developing products to satisfy Indonesian tourist demands.
