Update: Jul 24, 2014
The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong and the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa continue to work together to lure more tourists from Russia.

The pair will jointly develop various eco-tourism products and participate in the 20th International Trade Fair for Travel and Tourism (OTDYKH Leisure) to be held in Moscow in September. They have supported each other over the past three years to promote their special tourism products and services to visitors both at home and abroad, heard a July 22 meeting in Lam Dong to review the bilateral cooperation programme on culture, sport and tourism.

The two provinces have welcomed an increasing number of Russian tourists thanks to launching air routes from Russia to Khanh Hoa.

Popular Da Lat resort city alone welcomes around 300-350 Russian visitors a day during the peak season lasting from October to April.

Launching special tours to the city and surrounding areas is one of solutions to attract more holidaymakers, said Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism Phan Thanh Truc, especially during the 2014 National Tourism Year.
