Korean cultural festival in Thai Nguyen Province

Diverse cultural activities are taking place at a Korean cultural festival which opened in the northern mountainous province of Thai Nguyen to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of establishing Viet Nam - Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic ties.

The event is being held by the Korean Cultural Centre in Ha Noi, the Korea Tourism Organization and the Museum of the Culture of Viet Nam’s Ethnic Groups, to promote understanding about cultures between the two countries and strengthen solidarity as well as cooperation in different field.

Accordingly, on December 17th, a photo exhibition of Korean landscape and people was inaugurated at the Museum of the Culture of Viet Nam’s Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen province.

From December 19th, 2014, to February 28th, 2015 an exhibition of Korean Hanbok costumes will be held at the same place, where visitors will have a chance to try on the costumes.

From December 20th to 21st, a series of Korean movies will be screened, while Korean traditional arts will be performed at 7.30pm on December 19th.
