The Vietnam Airlines Tourism Company (VATC) will offer new prices for the Sleep Pod service in the Noi Bai International Airport from April 15 — much cheaper than the previous prices.
Prices are VND120,000 (US$5.55) for the first six hours for a single room and VND130,000 (US$6.02) for a double room, VND90,000 (US$4.17) and VND122,000 (US$5.65) less than the previous prices. The prices for additional hours are VND105,000 (US$4.86) and VND115,000 (US$5.32).
The new prices in Noi Bai Airport are considered much cheaper than in international airports in numerous countries including Russia, England, Singapore and America.
There are 14 sleep pods, including three single and 11 double beds, at terminal 1 in Noi Bai International Airport. Each box, with an area of four square metres and a height of three metres, is designed like a mini hotel with a bed, wardrobe, blanket, pillow, clothing hangers and alarm clock, as well as a power source for laptops, mobiles and other electronic devices.
Passengers can enjoy free drinks and snacks, and free wifi service in the pods.
The discounted prices are expected to attract more domestic passengers to use the new service.
