Da Nang city: Photo exhibition on relics and festivals
Update: May 22, 2015
As many of 85 photos on historical relics and festivals in the central city of Da Nang are on display at the Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple on 15 Ha Thi Than street in Da Nang’s Son Tra district.

The photos were selected from hundreds of beautiful and valuable photos taken by researchers, reporters and amateur photographers in the city.

The photos reflect the beauty of the local village communal houses and the archaeological relics from the Sa Huynh and Champa cultures; and impressive images of local traditional festivals like the “Cau Ngu” and village communal house festivals.

There are also photos of antiques such as bronze bells, horizontal lacquered boards and ancient tombs, as well as those of historical sites bearing the stamp of the struggle of local residents during the two resistance wars.

The exhibition, organised by Da Nang city’s Centre of Cultural Heritage Management and the Son Tra district Culture-Sport Centre, will run until May 25th.
