Kate Festival is an exotic folk festival of Cham ethnic people. Scheduled for October 11-13, the festival is an occasion for Cham people in the central province of Ninh Thuan to highlight their long-held cultural and historical values.

Kate is Cham people’s biggest festive time during which they worship Gods Po Klong Garai and Po Pomec as well as their ancestors, and pray for prosperity, good weather, bumper crop, and peace.
