Viet Nam names new tourism ambassador in France

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has appointed Anoa Suzanne Dussol Perran, President of An Hoa Tourism Company, as the new Vietnamese tourism ambassador in France.

Ms Perran is a French national but was born in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Sai Gon, in 1957.

She has been working in the tourism industry for over 20 years and has funded many activities to promote Vietnamese culture in France since 2011.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Vuong Duy Bien awarded an insignia to Perran for her contributions to Viet Nam’s tourism sector and expressed his believed that in her new role, Perran would make Viet Nam better known among the French public.

She is currently running a project called “Vietnamese House” to introduce French and international friends to Vietnamese culture and tourism in the country.

Under the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Perran will hold this post until 2018.
