(TITC) – From 9 to 13 March 2016, International Tourism Fair ITB Berlin 2016 will be held at CityCube Berlin Convention Centre (Berlin, Germany). The Vietnamese delegation led by Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism with some localities, tourism associations, tourism enterprises and artists will attend the event.

ITB is one of the largest tourism fairs in the world. This is an opportunity for tourism businesses to meet and co-operate and also for visitors to find tours and choose their destinations.
At ITB 2016, with the area of 200m², the booth of Viet Nam tourism will be designed under the theme of cultural tourism. Large images introducing Vietnamese sea and island tourism and natural landscapes will also be displayed.
In the framework of the fair, Viet Nam delegation will hold several events to promote the country's tourism, including night cocktail party on 9 March 2016 with the attendance of Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and other international partners. On 10 March 2016, Viet Nam will organize a press conference to introduce destinations and new products, services. On 11 March 2016, Seminar on Central Coast Viet Nam – New Emerging Destination will be held in order to promote destinations in the Central Coast which is an important region contributing to the attractiveness of Viet Nam’s tourism in recent years, with popular destinations such as Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Lang Co (Thua Thien - Hue), Hoi An (Quang Nam), Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan).
Coming to Viet Nam’s booth, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy performances of traditional ethnic instruments of Viet Nam.
