VNAT works with Vietnam Airlines

(TITC) – On 20 September 2016, in Ha Noi, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) had a meeting with representatives of Vietnam Airlines (VNA).

VNA proposed VNAT to colloborate with VNA and Viet Nam Embassy in China to welcome Famtrip delegation from China to explore Da Nang and organize a conference promoting Viet Nam tourism in October 2016.

Agreed with VNA’s proposal, Director General Nguyen Van Tuan emphasized that China is one of the most important markets of Viet Nam tourism. In 8 months of 2016, Viet Nam attracted about 1.8 million Chinese tourist arrivals. This number is expected to increase to 2.5 million by end of this year.

This year, VNAT organized roadshows introducing Viet Nam tourism in 3 cities of Tianjin, Guiyang and Guangzhou and will continue to promote Viet Nam tourism in China and welcome a Chinese Famtrip to visit Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Phu Quoc, Mr. Tuan added.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to work further with Da Nang City and relevant agencies to build plan for organizing the mentioned events.
