Vietnamese flowers showcased in RoK
Update: May 06, 2009
Vietnamese flowers are on show for the first time at an international exhibition being held in Goyang City, the Republic of Korea, between April 22 and May 10.

The Vietnam National Vegetable, Fruit and Agricultural Product Corporation (Vegetexco) is representing Vietnam at the event, which draws the participation of 264 flower and ornamental plant producers from 25 countries.

The expo’s organising committee selected April 27 as “Vietnamese Day” to introduce the country’s gardening industry through cultural and artistic activities and film screening. Free tickers are available for all Vietnamese in the RoK during the event.

This is the fifth consecutive time the Goyang International Flower Expo has been held in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. The expo is expected to attract 700,000 visitors.
