Viet Nam's handicrafts popular in Algeria

An international fair is being held in Algiers City in Algeria on June 2-7, attracting large numbers of agricultural import-export business and several businesses that specialise in Vietnamese arts and handicrafts.

Traditional Vietnamese products such as the long dress (ao dai), hats made of the finest quality latania leaves (non bai tho) and lacquer paintings caught the attention of many visitors to Viet Nam's stalls.

One said that Viet Nam's handicrafts are both beautiful and affordable for Algerian people.

Over the years, many arts and handicrafts made by private Vietnamese businesses had exhibited at the international fair in Algeria.
