Saigontourist launches regular overland Cambodia, Thailand tour
Update: Jun 30, 2010
Saigontourist Travel Service Co. has just launched a new overland tour linking attractions in the capitals of Cambodia and Thailand and extending to Pattaya, Thailand. The new, regular tour will set off every Sunday in HCMC.

Over seven days, tourists will visit attractions such as Angkor Wat, Banteay Kdey and Taprohm temple, in Cambodia, the gold pagoda in Bangkok and attractions and relaxation areas at Pattaya. The tour costs US$405. The first trip will leave on July 18.

According to Saigontourist, taking the overland trip through the two countries will help local travelers save money and time and allow them to visit more attractions. The travelers will also be taking advantage of a good time to go to Thailand, when many providers of tourism services are offering good prices in order to woo tourists back after the recent turmoil.

Along with the new overland tour, Saigontourist, in collaboration with Thai partners, this month are arranging three promotional tours to Thailand for Vietnamese travelers.
