Update: Aug 27, 2013
Vietnam's cultural publications and traditional products drew much attention from visitors at an international display organised by Germany's Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on August 25.
Vietnam was among more than 50 countries, mainly from South America, Africa and Asia, along with several non-governmental organisations, invited to join the display at the BMZ's headquarters in Berlin within the framework of the German government's Open Day.

Vietnamese artists' performances using folk musical instrument such as the monochord, T'rung and 16-chord zither at the event also received warm applause from audiences.

BMZ State Secretary Hans-Jurgen Beerfeltz called at the Vietnam stall and said Germany's cooperation with Vietnam is based on the two countries' long-standing friendship. He affirmed the European country's attention to continuing fostering cooperation with Vietnam.
