The 1st Meeting of ACMECS Senior Tourism Officials

(TITC) - In the framework of ITE HCMC 2013, on 10th Sept.2013, the 1st Meeting of ACMECS Senior Tourism Officials took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

 

 

 

The meeting had the attendance of representatives of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam.

 

Viet Nam as the chairman of the 1st Meeting of ACMECS Senior Tourism Officials delivered the opening remarks.

 

The meeting briefed the Meeting on the Vientiane Declaration of the 5th ACMECS and ACMECS Action Plan 2013-2015 and the necessity for establishment of the ACMECS Tourism Meeting mechanism

 

In addition, the meeting will discuss and comment on the drafts of the documents on the direction for ACMECS future tourism cooperation; drafts of Agenda and Joint Media Statement for the 1st Meeting of ACMECS Tourism Ministers on 11th Sept. 2013 as well as agree the time and venue of the 2nd Meeting of ACMECS Senior Tourism Officials.
