Vietnam Airlines and India’s Jet Airways have inked a reciprocal codeshare agreement to offer guests enhanced connectivity and seamless access when traveling throughout the combined networks of both airlines.
Accordingly, Jet Airways will place its marketing code on Vietnam Airlines’ flights from Bangkok and Singapore to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. In turn, Vietnam Airlines will place its marketing code on Jet Airways’ services between Bangkok to Mumbai, Delhi, Singapore to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
This new partnership will further strengthen the global network of both airlines and provide increased benefits to all passengers.
The codeshare flight from August 4 will provide more choice for guests between India and Viet Nam, with convenient connections over the international gateways of Singapore and Bangkok.
“This codeshare agreement is a demonstration of the value of the partnership between the two strategic partners. We shall make all possible effort to maximize the opportunities offered to our combined network in order to bring the most convenience to our valued customers who travel from India to Viet Nam via Bangkok/Singapore and vice versa”, said Mr. Duong Tri Thanh – Vice President, Vietnam Airlines.
To create better connection between the two countries for our common customers, Vietnam Airlines will also put its code on Jet Airways service to Viet Nam as from November 5 this year.
