The countdown is on until five prestigious pyrotechnic companies light up the Da Nang skies as part of the annual International Fireworks Competition.
Some of the world’s top pyrotechnic teams will compete for the much sought after competition title during five days of explosive action on April 29 to May 3.
Set for Da Nang City at the Han River Port, the stunning firework displays will be synchronised to music against the backdrop of the infamous Han River.
This year’s pyrotechnic companies firing at the event are Howard & Son Fireworks from Australia, Fireworks for Africa from South Africa, Pyrotecnico from the US, Surex Firma Rodzinna from Poland and the Da Nang City Team.
“The Fireworks Championships is an event which literally lights up the whole of Da Nang, an organizer of the event said.
To serve the event, Dong Duong JSC has constructed a stand with seating capacity for 32,000 on the eastern bank of Han River.
Da Nang has also planned a wide range of activities to coincide with the event such as bike races, concerts, art performances and is opening a large number of souvenir and food shops to cater to the event.
