The People’s Committee of Can Tho City on June 24 cooperated with the tour leading operator company, Vietravel to organize an announcement ceremony on an international route from Can Tho to Thailand’s Bangkok.
Under cooperation, Vietravel will charter one return flight using 180-seat Airbus A320 plane provided by Thailand’s VietJet Air every five days.
Four experimental direct flights will be launched on July 21, 25 29 and August 2.
The flight will depart at Bangkok at 11.30 a.m. and land in Can Tho at 1.30 p.m. Flight time is about 70 minutes.
A round trip fare is offered VND5,349,000. A five-day package tour is to cost VND7,790,000.
So far there are five local routes from Da Lat, Da Nang, Ha Noi, Phu Quoc and Con Dao to Can Tho; two international routes from China’s Taiwan and Thailand to the Mekong Delta city.
