Update: Sep 08, 2015
On September 6th, the Binh Dinh Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the Binh Dinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the provincial fine art exhibition 2015.

The exhibition showcased 70 works of oil paintings, pastels, lacquer, and wood-engraving by 40 young artists from Binh Dinh, to mark the 70th anniversary of National Day (2/9/1945 - 2/9/2015).

The works reflect the major themes such as: National dance, childhood kites, King Quang Trung defeating the Siemese army, sediments, divine fire, country girls, happiness, mysterious Champa, studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example…

By featuring the beauty of the region’s landscapes and people of Binh Dinh province, the event created a chance for sculptors to meet and exchange composing experiences with each other.

The organizing board presented 6 prizes in which the first prize was presented to artist Nguyen The Truong with his work titled “National Dance”.

The exhibition is scheduled to last until September 10th.
