Peru promotes tourism in Viet Nam

(TITC) – On the occasion of 195th National Day of Peru (28 July, 1821- 2016) and the 22nd anniversary of Viet Nam - Peru diplomatic ties, on 7 July 2016, the Peruvian Embassy in Viet Nam in collaboration with Vietravel organized the conference to promote Peruvian tourism. 

The event aims to introduce the Peru tourism potential to Viet Nam, especially visitors who are keen on tourism experiences and exploration. 

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luis Tsuboyama - chargé d'affaires of the Peruvian Embassy in Viet Nam said Peru is a country located in South America with beautiful natural landscapes and unique culture. In spite of long distance between Peru and Viet Nam, Peru promises to bring exciting experiences to Vietnamese visitors.

According to the representative of Vietravel, Peru has an area of ​​1.2 million km2 and population of over 30 million people. Peru is the cradle of many civilizations, especially Inca civilization. Peru is known as a dynamic country with cultural diversity. Lima Capital, located by the Pacific Coast, has Jorge Chavez Lima International Airport – listed one of the top 10 world’s best airports in 2014. In addition, Peru is also endowed with a variety of world heritage sites as Machu Picchu, Colca valley, the ancient city of Cusco, Titicaca Lake...

The Peru’s promotional program included other activities such as Introduction of Peruvian coffee and enjoying special coffee drinks; Dinner “Perú Mucho Gusto” with Peruvian typical specialities and South American music.
