Update: Apr 09, 2024
Thailand’s “Nation Story” newspaper has run a story suggesting experiences not to be missed in Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam.

Bai Sao Beach is one of the best beaches of Phu Quoc with crystal white sand.

The story highlights local tourism service prices half those found in Thailand, and recommends visitors spend at least five days to fully enjoy the “pearl island”.

The author, Thasaneya Ratwong, called Phu Quoc a “heavenly island” of Vietnam which provides a rich experience meeting diverse demands of tourists. The Thai reporter found its reasonable cost the most impressive feature while travelling to Phu Quoc.

During her journey, Thasaneya was most impressed with the southern part of Phu Quoc and divided the experience into three main parts. First, for art and culture lovers, the female reporter suggested Sunset Town. Second, for those who want to find a real tropical paradise, the world-class resorts at Bai Kem will be ideal. Third, she recommended adventure seekers spend at least a day to take the cable car to Hon Thom Island to admire the beautiful panorama of Phu Quoc’s sea from above and snorkeling to see the corals from below.
