Update: Jan 23, 2013
The Hanoi Municipal People's Committee has instructed its districts to organise 65 spring flower markets to welcome the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

The fairs will take place in 21 urban and 44 suburban locations from January 26 to February 11.

The traditional annual flower markets in Hang Luoc-Hang Ma Streets (Hoan Kiem district) and Quang An Flower Market (Tay Ho district) will proceed as usual.

Selected parks "such as Bach Thao, Thanh Cong, Thong Nhat, and Cau Giay" will host new spring flower fairs this year.

Quoc Oai district will have the largest number of such markets, with 13 reserved locations. It is followed by Soc Son and Thanh Oai districts, each having 6 locations, and Tay Ho district with 4 locations.
