The Vietnam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on August 26 announces that it will add up to around 285,620 seats (including normal and additional seat) in flights during this National Day holiday period.
In order to meet the increasing demand of passengers, between August 30 - September 3, the Airlines plans to operate additional flights on 10 routes, including Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh city - Hanoi, Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh city - Dong Hoi/Da Nang/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh city - Da Lat routes.
Notably, Hanoi - Dong Hoi/Phu Quoc- Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city- Dong Hoi/Nha Trang/Ho Chi Minh city routes are expected to see a 70-100% increase from normal demand.
So far, the total offered seats has increased 22% as normal, and 21% compared with the same period of last year.
Vietnam Airlines hopes to provide the best travel services for both domestic and international passengers, especially during major holidays and peak seasons.
