The Viet Nam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on May 20 announced its plans on increasing flights during this year’s summer break.
Accordingly, between June 15 - August 15, around 2,717 one-way flights will be provided, equivalent to over 500,000 seats on 16 international and domestic routes.
Total number of seats to reach 4,200,000, an increase of 14% as normal plan, and up 17% compared to the same period last year.
Each day, Vietnam Airlines is about to provide around 44 flights, in which seeing 397 flights on the busiest day.
Domestically, flights will be operated on 13 routes including Hanoi - Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh city, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Da Lat, Dong Hoi, Dien Bien; Ho Chi Minh city - Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Dong Hoi, Thanh Hoa and Da Nang - Hai Phong.
For international routes, this plan is applicable for Hanoi - Kuala Lumpur; Ho Chi Minh city - Kuala Lumpur, Seoul routes.
