The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines plans to add 147 flights on nine domestic routes between August 29 and September 2.
The addition aims to meet the growing travel demand during the upcoming National Day holiday.
Extra flights will be added to routes including Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, and between Ha Noi and Dong Hoi.
During the period, up to 106,400 seats will be available, up 30% over normal days and 22% over the same period last year.
Vietnam Airlines now has a total of 95 routes to 29 international and 21 domestic destinations.
