During a working session with the Ninh Binh province’s leaders on October 16, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh requested the province enact comprehensive measures to promote the image of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage - Trang An landscape complex – and tourism destinations, as well as historical sites in the province, to domestic and foreign travellers.

The Minister noted that Ninh Binh should intensify its management over tourism services and work more closely with relevant agencies.

On January 25, 2015, Ninh Binh will hold a ceremony to receive a certificate recognising Trang An landscape complex as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Minister Anh directed the Ninh Binh provincial Department of Information and Communications, and other press agencies to promote the event, which is considered the opening event of the National Tourism Year 2015.

Leaders of Ninh Binh province also reported that in the first nine months of this year, Ninh Binh received 3.8 million visitors. The Ninh Binh tourism industry’s total revenue hit VND 789 billion. The province has 284 stay-establishments including 4,384 hotel rooms, and 190 restaurants to serve visitors.
