The press conference

The festive days will take place from January 7 to 14 in Sa Dec City, aiming to introduce and popularize local natural landscapes, flower villages, historical and cultural relic sites, specific tourism products, and cuisine. The event is also an opportunity to boost trade promotion and attract domestic and international investment in Dong Thap, contributing to effectively implementing the province’s tourism development project set until 2020.

In addition, the week will feature various activities such as street festivals, a bonsai competition and exhibition, a photo exhibition on the Dong Thap’s landscapes, a trade fair on street foods, a traditional music festival, and a beauty contest.

The organizing panel will hold a trade fair and exhibition themed “Bridge of trade promotion and investment in Sa Dec 2017,” a workshop entitled “Dong Thap Responsible Tourism”, and a seminar on potential for products made from rice.

The organizers plan to set the record “The Biggest Waterfall of Flowers in Viet Nam,” which will be 12m in height and made from more than 2,500 flower baskets of Sa Dec flower villages, symbolizing the four colorful flower seasons.
