(TITC) - Celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2018) and starting tourist season 2018, on 25 April, People’s Committee of Phu Yen Province organized Phu Yen Culture - Tourism Week 2018 at 1 Thang 4 Square, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province.

With the theme “Phu Yen – An attractive and friendly destination”, Phu Yen Culture – Tourism Week 2018 takes place for 7 days, from 25 April to 1 May in Tuy Hoa City, Song Cau Town and Tuy An District with 10 main activities, highlights of which are Phu Yen’s Bai choi singing festival 2018; the ceremony to receive the title of National Landscape for Hon Yen (Yen Islet); Phu Yen Cuisine Festival; the 1st Tuy Hoa City’s Street Music Festival 2018, etc.
With many beautiful landscapes, pristine bays, sea and increasingly improved tourism infrastructure, Phu Yen is an emerging attractive destination for visitors, especially international ones. The number of visitor arrivals to Phu Yen in 2018 is expected to increase sharply, especially the holidays of 30 April and 1 May. With special culture – tourism activities, Phu Yen Culture - Tourism Week 2018 is an opportunity to introduce unique cultural features and tourism potentials of Phu Yen Province, thereby attracting investment, stimulating tourism, and gradually building tourism brand “Phu Yen – An attractive and friendly destination”.
