VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh inspected preparations for welcoming international tourists in Quang Nam and Da Nang

(TITC) - On November 13-14, Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh led a delegation of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to inspect the preparations for welcoming international tourists in two localities of Quang Nam and Da Nang.

The delegation visited Hoiana Complex Resort and Vinpearl Nam Hoi An Resort, in Quang Nam Province; Sheraton Grand Hotel, Vinpearl Luxury, Risemount Premier Resort and Paracel Hotel, in Da Nang City.

Leaders of VNAT and local authorities carefully checked the stages in the process of picking up, transporting tourists from the airport to the accommodation establishments, using private car going on fixed route, quick testing for Covid-19, pandemic prevention at facilities and handling scenarios.

Quang Nam Province has prepared thoughtfully to pilot welcoming the first group of international tourists on a charter flight on November 17 and the next group coming on November 18, informed a representative of Quang Nam Province.

On the side of Da Nang, representatives of hotels said that they have met the requirements for serving tourists safely with appropriate scheme, handling scenarios, vaccination, safety standards for serving tourists and pandemic prevention.

Chairman of VNAT Nguyen Trung Khanh emphasized that the localities and tourism establishments should strictly comply with the provisional guidance No. 4122 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on welcoming international tourists to revive tourism activities as soon as possible, especially relevant guidelines for pandemic prevention. At the same time, it is necessary to recommend tourists to use the Vietnam Safe Travel application of VNAT for better tourism experience while ensuring safe tourism activities.
