Costa Allegra ship brings 1,250 tourists to Vietnam
Update: Jun 30, 2009
SaigonTourist welcomed 1,250 international tourists traveling on the Costa Allegra ship at the NaviOil Port in Ho Chi Minh City on June 30.

Most of the visitors are from Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the UK.

During their time in Vietnam, they will visit famous sites in HCMC, My Tho and Cu Chi and then travel to Danang, Hoi An, Hue and Halong Bay.

Earlier, the French Press Agency (AFP) announced the results of a survey conducted in seven European countries indicating that European people are travelling less and planning to tighten their belt this summer due to the economic crisis, so the continued influx of foreign arrivals in Vietnam is a good sign for the tourism sector.
