2013 Ha Long Carnival to be held

The 2013 Ha Long Carnival themed â"Quang Ninh's Colours - Integration and Spread" will be held at Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province on April 27.

Ha Long Carnival 2013, sponsored by the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, aims to celebrate the 50th birthday of Ha Long City, promote the image of Quang Ninh as a tourist destination, and spotlight the beauty of Ha Long Bay - one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

 

The event will include an opening ceremony, art and music shows, along with a carnival parade that will see the participation of more than 5,000 local artists, models and dancers as well as art troupes from Japan, The Republic of Korea, China and Laos.

 

The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television Channel 1 and 4, and Quang Ninh provincial Television.

 

This year's carnival is expected to have the capacity of 10,000 seats in order to serve the best to the increasing number of tourists to Ha Long.

 

Nhandan
