Spectacular art performances will be held to mark the forthcoming Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-132), which will begin in Ha Noi on March 28, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has announced.
A festival, named “Hon que Viet” (Vietnamese village soul) will be organised at the capital’s Temple of Literature on March 27.
This will be followed on March 29 by an art programme, held at the Culture Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups in Son Tay Town, celebrating the vibrant cultures of Viet Nam’s ethnic minority groups.
Another performance titled “Night of Thang Long Citadel” will take place in the capital’s citadel complex on March 31. Participants in this event will include various famous artists, and bands, including the Viet Nam National Academy of Music, violinist Bui Cong Duy, and the Song Hong Jazz Band.
