Tet at Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology

The Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology will organize a programme to discover Tet on January 20th (the 23rd day of the last lunar month).

The programme will draw the participation of artisans from calligraphy groups in Ha Noi, Tet pole making and Dong Ho folklore painting, swing on swing in Bac Ninh province and dance of Thai ethnic people in Ha Noi.

Pupils from several primary and secondary schools in Ha Noi will experience activities to discover Tet, such as chung cake making, calligraphy writing, Dong Ho folk painting, 12 animal drawing and folklore games, especially games of the northwestern region.

On February 2nd to 3rd, 2017 (the 6th and the 7th day of the first lunar month), there will be a programme to introduce Tet and cultural features in Kon Tum province through artistic performances of ethnic people in the Central Highlands, as well as their special dishes.
